How it works
Set up your session
Enter your names, choose a mood, and set your comfort levels. The game adapts to your boundaries.
Write your Sealed Wish
Each player writes a hidden wish. Something you have been wanting to try, a fantasy, or a simple request. This is your prize if you win.
Draw cards, earn points
Take turns drawing cards — Questions, Tasks, Dares, Duets, and Wildcards. Complete challenges to earn Wish Points as the intensity builds.
The winner's Sealed Wish gets opened
The player with the most points reveals their Sealed Wish. Though honestly — there are no losers.
Optional: cast to a display
Pair your phones with a TV, tablet, or laptop as the shared screen. Cards appear there while players keep the controls in their hand. Perfect for game night side-by-side.
About Private Game
Private Game is a browser-based intimate card game for couples. Two partners take turns drawing from a deck of 600+ cards spread across five intensity tiers — Spark, Warmth, Heat, Fire and Inferno — and a three-phase arc that moves a session from gentle connection through playful exploration into deeper passion. Questions, tasks, dares, duets and wildcards keep each round different. Designed for date night on the couch, a long weekend away, or a quiet evening at home. Free to start; unlock with a one-time purchase or a weekly pass. No app store required. Available in English, Dutch and French at private-game.app.

- Is Private Game free?
- Yes — the free tier includes a complete session (15 quick cards or 22 classic cards) drawn from the Spark and Warmth tiers with a small Heat sample. Start free; unlock the full Heat, Fire and Inferno catalog with a one-time purchase or a weekly pass. Optional themed expansion packs are sold separately.
- Do I need to install an app?
- No. Private Game runs in any modern browser at private-game.app and can be installed to your phone's home screen as a Progressive Web App. There is no App Store or Play Store install required.
- How many players are there?
- Two — Private Game is designed for couples, played on a single phone or shared TV screen in the same room. A long-distance mode for remote couples is on the roadmap for a future release.
- What's on the cards?
- 600+ cards across five intensity tiers: Spark (icebreakers), Warmth (flirty and sensual), Heat (sexual but soft), Fire (explicit) and Inferno (most intense). Card types include Questions, Tasks, Dares, Duets and Wildcards. You set your tier ceiling at the start of a session.
- Is the content explicit?
- The higher tiers are explicit and adult. Players choose a tier ceiling at the start of each session — keep it at Spark or Warmth for a flirty evening, push to Fire or Inferno for explicit play. The first-session age gate restricts access to 18+.
- What languages are supported?
- English, Dutch (Nederlands) and French (Français). The language can be switched per session.
- What is TV-display mode?
- TV-display mode lets one phone act as the controller while another device — a tablet, laptop or smart TV — shows the cards in full screen. The two devices stay in sync over a private WebSocket room. Ideal for a couch session.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Card draws, comfort settings and session history are stored locally on your device (IndexedDB). No card content or session detail is sent to any third party. Authentication is optional and is only used to verify purchase entitlements and sync them across your own devices.
- Can I play long-distance?
- Not yet. Private Game is currently designed for two players in the same room. A long-distance / remote-couple mode is on the roadmap.
