Delete your account in the app
Sign in, then go to Settings → Delete account and confirm. Deletion happens immediately and is fully self-serve — no email required.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile (display name, anatomy, comfort and capability settings, facets), any sessions you hosted and their card/embers history, your seen-card history, push tokens, referral attribution and your email subscription from our servers. This cannot be undone.
What’s pseudonymised and kept for 7 years
Purchase, checkout, coupon and referral-payout records — including the underlying payment-provider event logs — are kept for 7 years because Belgian accounting law requires it. Your identifier is replaced everywhere it appears, including inside stored payment events, so these records can no longer be traced back to you. Feedback you submitted at the end of a session is also kept in this pseudonymised form; it still contains your free-text note and a device identifier, so treat it as de-identified rather than fully anonymous.
What this deletion doesn’t cover
If you played a shared session that a partner hosted, that session record belongs to their account and isn’t removed by deleting yours — only the host can delete a session they hosted. Our payment processor, RevenueCat, separately keeps its own record of your purchase history under its own retention policy; we don’t control or delete that record.
Can’t sign in?
If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account (or with enough detail for us to verify it is you) and we will delete your account manually.
Data on this device
Deleting your account only removes server-side data. Data stored locally on this device (offline session history, sealed wishes, seen-card history) is separate — clear it anytime via “Delete all data” in Settings, or by clearing your browser storage.
